Dear Holden,
I know you miss me and trust me, I miss you too. I don't want you to be so sad anymore. It hurts me to see you like this, you should be happy and move on with your life. You need to be happy again. You need to laugh and have fun like we used to before I was sick. Also, you need to quit fibbing to all those adults, I know you think you're funny.
I know you feel like you were mean to me and I know that is bugging you. But I have to tell you, you were the best big brother anybody could ask for and I wouldn't ask for anyone different. You had a huge impact on my life and I always looked up to you, even if you did give me a hard time now and then.
Holden, when you think of me, I don't want you to be sad. I want you to remember all the good times together and know that I want you to have a life full of friends and family, love and laughter. And if you do get sad, pick up my mitt and read my poems. I don't want those poems to make you feel lonely, I want them to make you remember me in the best ways.
With love,
Allie
